The Selective Studies Program is designed to help students in grades 8-12 who
have a diagnosed condition that adversely affects their learning. Its goal is
to help these students become academically successful by teaching them study
strategy, and how to use their own personal learning styles. These students
usually fall into one of two groups; 1) those who have AD/HD or 2) a Specific
Learning Disability. The students range from average to gifted in intelligence.
The Selective Studies Program offers several levels of support, so a plan can
be designed to meet the needs of a student. This plan can be adjusted as
needed. We also keep a list of tutors available, and offer space for tutoring
to be done on campus.
